1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, persist your preferences, and provide information to site owners.
Anviil uses only a minimal set of cookies that are necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies that follow you across websites.
2. Cookies We Use
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| anviil_access_token | Stores your JWT access token to keep you authenticated. httpOnly — not readable by JavaScript. | 15 minutes | Strictly necessary |
| anviil_refresh_token | Stores your long-lived refresh token used to silently renew the access token. httpOnly — not readable by JavaScript. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
| anviil_region | Stores your selected region (e.g. SE, GB, US) so prices, dates, and language are displayed correctly on return visits. Readable by client-side JavaScript for Zustand hydration. | 1 year | Strictly necessary / Functional |
3. What We Do Not Use
- Advertising or targeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking cookies
- Third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)
- Session replay or heatmap tools
- Social media tracking pixels
4. Managing Cookies
Because all cookies we set are strictly necessary or functional, disabling them via your browser will prevent the platform from working correctly — you will not be able to stay logged in or have your region remembered.
If you wish to delete cookies, you can do so through your browser settings. The following links explain how to manage cookies in the most common browsers:
5. Changes to This Policy
If we add new cookies that require consent in the future, we will update this policy, implement a consent mechanism, and notify you in advance. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
